Scott signed a contract with the Cardinals on Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Scott will fill the 90-man roster spot voided by starting center A.Q. Shipley's placement on injured reserve. He will receive an opportunity to state his case for a roster spot as a depth cornerback and special teams player during the preseason.

The Giants waived Scott on Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official site reports.
Scott's stay with the Giants lasted all of one game, with the reserve defensive back playing a single snap in Sunday's 51-17 loss to the Rams. With cornerback Janoris Jenkins reinstated from a one-game suspension Tuesday, Scott was cut loose to open up a spot on the 53-man roster.
