  • Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Back with Cincinnati

Morgan signed a two-year contract with the Bengals on Monday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Morgan didn't factor much into the team's passing game a season ago, and he likely will serve as receiver depth and a solid special-teams option in 2022. During his first three seasons with Cincinnati, he's tallied five receptions for 29 yards on 14 total targets and has one rushing attempt for three yards. Morgan also finished with 22 yards as a kick returner a season ago.

  • Stanley Morgan: Set to become free agent

Morgan won't be tendered by the Bengals, so he'll become a free agent when the new league year starts March 16, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Morgan appeared in all 17 of the Bengals' regular season games, but he wasn't a factor during their playoff run due to a hamstring issue. Regardless, he operated mostly on special teams and caught just two of four targets for 11 yards during the 2021 campaign. It's unclear what type of market the 25-year-old wideout will garner in free agency.

  • Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Practices in full

Morgan (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

Morgan practiced in a limited capacity all last week, but it appears that he's now back to full health. As per usual, Morgan stands to operate primarily on special teams during the Super Bowl.

  • Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Dealing with hamstring issue

Morgan (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday and Friday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Morgan has missed all three of the Bengals' previous postseason matchups due to a lingering hamstring injury. However, the positive news is that the wideout has finally been able to return to practice, albeit in limited fashion. He's mostly operated on special teams this season, so his status shouldn't impact Cincinnati's offensive game plan.

  • Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Limited all week

Morgan (hamstring) remained limited at practice Friday, Tyler Dragon of USA Today reports.

Morgan was listed as a limited practice participant all week and if the Bengals were playing this Sunday, the wideout would have been listed as questionable. However, with the Super Bowl not until Feb. 13, Morgan has a chance to return to practice fully in advance of the contest. If that happens, he could head into next weekend minus an injury designation.

  • Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Inactive Sunday

Morgan (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Morgan didn't practice Friday and officially was listed as doubtful, so it's not surprising that he'll miss his third straight game. In his absence, Tre Flowers once again is expected to take over as a gunner on the Bengals' punt coverage unit.

Morgan was limited to start the week but didn't practice Friday, so it would be a shock if he was able to suit up. In his likely absence, Tre Flowers is expected to once again take over the gunner role on punt coverage.
