Austen Pleasants: Signed to practice squad by Jags
Jacksonville signed Pleasants to its practice squad Friday, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Pleasants was waived by the Jaguars in early September, but he will now rejoin the team's practice squad with Badara Traore (undisclosed) placed on the practice squad injured list. The Jaguars recently placed A.J. Cann (knee) on IR, so they may be looking to add some offensive line depth to their active roster.

Pleasants is one of 11 players cleared to return from the COVID-19 list for Jacksonville on Thursday. He's eligible to immediately resume participating in practice squad activities.

Pleasants has either tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with an infected person. The Ohio University product will need to clear the NFL's COVID-19 protocols before returning to team activities.
