Nile Lawrence-Stample: Waived by Cleveland
The Browns waived Lawrence-Stample (shoulder) on Monday after he failed a physical, Dan Labbe of Cleveland.com reports.
Lawrence-Stample signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent last summer, but spent the entire 2016 campaign on injured reserve after hurting his shoulder in the preseason. The fact he was waived with a failed physical designation seemingly implies the injury is still a problem for the defensive tackle.

Browns' Nile Lawrence-Stample: Placed on injured reserve
Lawrence-Stample (shoulder) was placed on the Browns' injured reserve list, Ohio.com reports.
The details surrounding the exact nature of his injury remain vague, but Lawrence-Stample had been nursing it since the beginning of August and missed the entirety of the Browns' preseason thus far. The undrafted rookie will likely get another tryout with the team next year.

Lawrence-Stample is an undrafted rookie fighting to make the roster. It's unclear what exactly happened to his shoulder or how serious it is. his first opportunity to return to practice will be on Friday. In his absence, Kyle Rose appears to be in line for a few extra reps.
