  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Held to one catch

Wilson secured his lone target for seven yards during Sunday's 39-17 win over the Browns.

Wilson was again overshadowed by Trent Sherfield, who turned in a 5-63-1 line versus Cleveland and has clearly established himself as the Dolphins' No. 3 wideout. On the bright side, Wilson's played his highest percentage of offensive snaps (30) since Week 2. Still, the 26-year-old remains definitively off the fantasy radar heading into Miami's bye week.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: More involved in Week 9 win

Wilson secured both of his targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 35-32 win over the Bears.

Wilson recorded a catch for the first time since Week 5 while playing 25 percent of offensive snaps Sunday, a sign of growing involvement on offense. Coach Mike McDaniel has alluded to Wilson's role potentially increasing as the season continues, so though he continues to work behind Trent Sherfield for the time being, it could be worth monitoring the 26-year-old in deep fantasy formats.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Third straight zero-target game

Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 31-27 win over the Lions.

Wilson has only been targeted in three out of seven appearances this season, and he hasn't drawn a single look in the passing game since Week 5. Trent Sherfield looks clearly solidified ahead of Wilson as the No. 3 wideout. Though coach Mike McDaniel said he anticipates Wilson's role growing in the future, he is essentially without fantasy value at the moment.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Role should grow

Coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Wilson "will continue to become more featured in our offense," David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Wilson hasn't been targeted in back-to-back contests, though McDaniel said that's partially due to the rib injury he dealt with early in the season. McDaniel also said Wilson's lack of involvement is more about the fact that Trent Sherfield has been more effective with his opportunities, per Furones. Sherfield currently has a grip on the No. 3 receiver role, but if Wilson can truly progress in Miami's scheme, he could get more involved and move up the depth chart as the season continues.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Not targeted again

Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 16-10 win over the Steelers.

Wilson has now gone back-to-back games without a target, but more worryingly, he played just six percent of offensive snaps Week 7 while Trent Sherfield handled 56 percent. There's no indication that the 26-year-old could be considered a viable fantasy option heading into a Week 8 matchup against Detroit.
