The Texans hosted Johnson (undisclosed) for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson reached an injury settlement with the Bears in early September after reverting to the team's injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury. The undrafted rookie appears to be fully healthy and is attempting to join a team in need of depth out of the secondary.

Tysheem Johnson: Let go by Bears
The Bears waived Johnson (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson is headed to waivers after having reverted to the team's injured reserve late last month. The 22-year-old will now look to get healthy and catch on with another team.

Bears' Tysheem Johnson: Reverts to IR
Johnson (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve with the Bears on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Johnson was waived with an injury designation after suffering an undisclosed injury during training camp. He will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2025 season while on IR, unless he's able to reach an injury settlement with Chicago.
