Raysean Pringle: Waived by Oakland
Pringle was waived by the Raiders on Friday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Pringle formerly played at the running back and wide receiver positions, but he switched to the defensive side of the ball during his rookie season last year. He'll become an unrestricted free agent if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Raiders' Raysean Pringle: Signed by Oakland
Pringle signed a contract with the Raiders on Monday, the team's official site reports.
Pringle spent parts of his rookie season in 2017 on the Packers and Jaguars practice squads, ultimately switching to the defensive side of the ball after playing running back and wide receiver at Southern Utah. A roster spot in Oakland came available upon the release of fellow defensive back Shaquille Richardson, who was waived with an injury designation. Pringle will provide depth at cornerback for the Raiders throughout training camp with Gareon Conley (hip) and Dexter McDonald (ankle) nursing injuries.

Pringle was waived by the Lions on Monday, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
Pringle didn't last long in Detroit after signing with the Lions in April. Now in his second season after going undrafted out of Southern Utah last year, he'll become an unrestricted free agent if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Lions' Raysean Pringle: Inks deal with Detroit
Pringle signed a contract with Lions on Wednesday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Pringle played both running back and wide receiver during his college days Southern Utah before moving to cornerback upon turning pro last season. The 24-year-old's speed has been a selling point for his game thus far, but how he fares during Detroit's offseason program and training camp will likely determine his fate with the organization by the time Week 1 arrives.
