Steelers' Brandon Reilly: Joins Steelers
Reilly was awarded to the Steelers off waivers Wednesday.
Reilly was waived by the Lions earlier in the week. After going undrafted out of Nebraska in 2017, the 25-year-old has been bouncing around looking for an opportunity, but has yet to see any regular-season action. He will now look to make an impression in Pittsburgh but figures to have an uphill climb.

Brandon Reilly: Let go by Detroit
The Lions waived Reilly on Tuesday, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
Reilly originally signed with the Lions on June 3 after being released by them May 10. The 25-year-old has yet to see any regular-season NFL action after going undrafted out of Nebraska in 2017.

Reilly signed a contract with the Lions on Monday.
Reilly previously was cut by the Lions back in May after coming to terms on a reserve/future contract in January, but he's set to get another shot with the squad. He's yet to see action in an NFL game after going undrafted in 2017 out of Nebraska.

Reilly signed a reserve/future contract with the Lions back in January but was let go to make room for the signing of some undrafted free agents. Reilly has mostly been on practice squads since going undrafted in 2017.

Brandon Reilly: Can't crack Buffalo's roster
Reilly has been cut by the Bills, Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports.
Reilly had a better chance to make the team once the Bills lost hope in trade acquisition Corey Coleman, but in the end the final receiving spot went to rookie Ray-Ray McCloud. Reilly has turned heads for two summers now, so the Bills would likely love to sneak him onto the practice squad, where he can keep working on the areas where he lacks polish.

Reilly reportedly broke a rib during the Bills' first preseason game but has fought through the injury in hopes of the making the team. While tough as nails, Reilly is unlikely to latch onto the roster for receiving purposes and likely will be of service on special teams if he survives the cut.

Reilly has had some shiny moments this summer but he's still probably on the outside looking in for a roster spot if the Bills had to make a decision today. Reilly injured his ribs against the Panthers last week and hasn't fully recovered yet. He's spent some time working with the first team and has a chance to make the final roster, but his absence from Friday's practice won't help his case at all. Look for Malachi Dupre and Ray-Ray McCloud to see some extra snaps with Reilly out.

Bills' Brandon Reilly: Dealing with rib injury
Reilly suffered a rib injury in Thursday's game against the Panthers, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Reilly, who has seen plenty of first-team reps this offseason, made his one reception prior to his injury count -- he gained 59 yards on a spectacular catch-and-run. The good news for Reilly is that the injury is not being viewed as a serious one, but given that Buffalo is thin at receiver as is, the team will likely proceed with caution.

Bills' Brandon Reilly: Standing out
With teammate Zay Jones still recovering from offseason knee and shoulder injuries, Reilly has seen some practice time with the first-team offense, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com reports.
Reilly, an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska last season, had a standout camp in 2017 as well. However, despite calls for him to add some excitement to a ho-hum receiving corps, he spent most of the season on the practice squad until a December call to the regular lineup. This time around, it looks like he has a better than 50-50 shot to make the team, while the only sure thing in this group is Kelvin Benjamin being the No. 1. Jones would be the No. 2 once he gets healthy and stops disappointing, but really, at this time the No. 2 through No. 5/6 slots are wide open.
