Rams' Colby Parkinson: Unavailable in Week 4
Parkinson (shoulder/knee) is inactive for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Eagles.
The veteran tight end took a questionable tag into the weekend after missing practice all week, and Parkinson's inactive status has now been confirmed. While he tends to his pair of injuries and targets a return for a Monday night, Oct. 12 home showdown with the Bills in Week 5, Parkinson's snaps and targets are expected to be absorbed by Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie second-round pick Max Klare, the Rams' three remaining healthy tight ends with Terrance Ferguson (ankle, IR) also unavailable.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Questionable for Week 4
Parkinson (shoulder/knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Parkinson will not practice Friday and will log three DNPs for the week, but the Rams are leaving the light on for him to play Week 4, especially after Terrance Ferguson (ankle) was already ruled out for the contest. If Parkinson can't go, Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen would be in line for substantial roles, and rookie Max Klare could even see some action on offense.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Remains DNP on Thursday
Parkinson (knee/shoulder) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
In addition to the shoulder injury he suffered last Sunday against Denver, Parkinson is still battling through a knee issue. If neither he nor Terrance Ferguson (ankle) are able to play Sunday against the Eagles, the Rams will need to lean on Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie Max Klare at tight end.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: DNP on Wednesday
Head coach Sean McVay said Parkinson (shoulder) will not practice Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Parkinson is considered day-to-day after injuring his shoulder in last Sunday night's loss to the Broncos. With Terrance Ferguson (ankle) also not practicing Wednesday, the Rams could be looking at Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie Max Klare handling tight-end duties in Week 4 against the Eagles.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Considered day-to-day
Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Parkinson is day-to-day due to an AC joint sprain in his shoulder that he picked up during the Rams' 30-26 loss to the Broncos on Sunday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
The Rams are already expecting Terrance Ferguson (ankle) to not be available for Week 4 against the Eagles this Sunday, and Los Angeles could also be without their top tight end in Parkinson. Wednesday's injury report will be the first indication of Parkinson's chances of playing Week 4, but if he's not cleared to suit up, then the Rams would lean more heavily on Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie second-rounder Max Klare. While Parkinson failed to haul in his lone target against Denver, it's worth noting that Higbee put together an 8-62-1 receiving line on 11 targets, which was second-most behind wide receiver Davante Adams (13) among Rams pass catchers.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Returns to action Sunday
Parkinson (shoulder) has returned to Sunday's game against the Broncos, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Parkinson wasn't out of the game long after being deemed questionable to return in the first half. He didn't have a catch prior to the injury but will have a chance to add to his stat line as he plays through this shoulder issue, as well as a knee injury that had Parkinson listed as questionable heading into Sunday night's game.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Active in Week 3
Parkinson (knee) is listed as active Sunday at Denver, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Despite Parkinson being a listed non-participant on all three Week 3 practice reports due to a knee injury, head coach Sean McVay relayed to Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register on Friday that the tight end was "trending in the right direction" ahead of Sunday's game. Indeed, Parkinson is available, but he may yield some of his position-leading 74 percent snap share to fellow active TEs Terrance Ferguson, Davis Allen and Tyler Higbee. Parkinson has three catches (on four targets) for 21 yards and no TDs through the first two games of the season.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Status in question for Week 3
Parkinson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest at Denver, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Parkinson officially went down as a non-participant on all three of the Rams' Week 3 injury reports due to a knee issue, but coach Sean McVay told Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register that the tight end was going to take part in Friday's jog-through and was "trending in the right direction" ahead of Sunday's matchup. Ultimately, Parkinson's status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, but even if he's available he may not be able to handle the 70-plus percent snap share he handled in both of L.A.'s first two games of the campaign.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Does not participate in practice
Parkinson (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
The tight end also had to miss Wednesday's walkthrough. Parkinson played on 77 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 1 and 71 percent in Week 2, but now he appears to be in jeopardy of missing the Rams' Week 3 matchup with the Broncos. Fellow tight end Terrance Ferguson (ankle) upgraded to full participation Thursday after being limited Wednesday, and Davis Allen, Tyler Higbee and Max Klare are also healthy options at the position.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Misses Wednesday's walkthrough
Parkinson didn't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough due to a knee injury, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Parkinson has paced the Rams' TE group in snap share through two games this season, earning 77 percent in Week 1 and 71 percent in Week 2, but he has just three catches (on four targets) for 21 yards to date. With no practice reps to begin Week 3 prep, his status now will be monitored to get a sense of his odds to play Sunday in Denver. Meanwhile, fellow TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle) was limited Wednesday, leaving Davis Allen, Tyler Higbee and rookie Max Klare as the current healthy options at the position.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Catches two passes in MNF win
Parkinson secured both of his targets for 15 yards in Monday night's 28-6 win over the Giants.
Parkinson led all Los Angeles tight ends with a 71 percent snap share, but he played mainly a blocking role while Terrance Ferguson got most of the glory as a pass catcher. Parkinson has just three grabs for 21 yards on four targets across two games to begin the season.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Only one catch Week 1
Parkinson caught one pass (on two targets) for six yards during the Rams' 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1.
Parkinson was on the field for 47 of the Rams' 61 offensive plays (77.0 percent), which was ahead of fellow tight ends Terrance Ferguson (31 snaps), Davis Allen (21 snaps, head) and Tyler Higbee (12 snaps). However, Parkinson was unable to convert that extra playing time into offensive production, with the 2020 fourth-rounder being used more as a blocker, with Higbee leading the position group with two catches on as many targets for 12 yards. Parkinson saw an uptick in involvement in the passing game as the 2025 season progressed, but he's off to a slow start to the 2026 campaign. The Rams will make their home debut Week 2 on Monday, Sept. 21 against the Giants, whose defense ranked in the top-10 in fantasy production against tight ends in 2025.

Rams' Colby Parkinson: Leading deep TE group in LA
Parkinson remains on track to lead the Rams' tight-end room, Albert Breer of SI.com reports.
Being the top tight end can be a bit misleading when it comes to this Rams team, seeing as no team came close to running as many three-tight-end sets last season as Los Angeles' 388. Even so, Parkinson will be on the field plenty and the Rams are expected to be one of the best offenses in football. With that, Parkinson's week-to-week outlook can be volatile even if the year-end results end up being useful from a TE2 perspective in fantasy. Parkinson caught a career-high eight touchdown passes last season.
