The Seahawks waived Brewer on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Brewer, a rookie UDFA from Texas, lands on waivers for the second time in a week. He caught three passes during Seattle's first two exhibition games but didn't record a target across 21 offensive snaps in Friday's preseason finale.

Seahawks' Cade Brewer: Back with Seattle
Brewer re-signed with the Seahawks on Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Brewer was waived by the Seahawks on Saturday, but he will get another opportunity with the team. An undrafted free agent out of Texas, Brewer recorded three total receptions in his first two NFL preseason games.

Cade Brewer: Going to waivers
Seattle waived Brewer on Saturday, John Boyle of Seahawks.com reports.
If he clears waivers, Brewer will become an unrestricted free agent. The rookie UDFA from Texas has three preseason receptions to his name after the Seahawks' 27-11 win vs. Chicago on Thursday, but he'll now have to look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Brewer caught his lone target for eight yards in Saturday's 32-25 preseason loss to the Steelers.
Brewer played seven offensive snaps and three special-teams snaps. The undrafted rookie wasn't very productive at Texas and will likely end up on the practice squad.
