Sam Pinckney: Cut from practice squad
The Panthers released Pinckney from the practice squad Tuesday.
Pinckney has bounced off and on the Panthers' practice squad a couple times already this season. Undrafted out of Coastal Carolina earlier this year, Pinckney has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

Sam Pinckney: Back with Carolina
The Panthers signed Pinckney to the practice squad Thursday, Anthony Rizzuti of USA Today reports.
It's the second time Pinckney has been signed to the Panthers' practice squad this season. After failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, he signed to the practice squad Sept. 25 but was cut five days later. Pinckney signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in May after spending the final two years of his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina, finishing the 2023 campaign with 72 catches for 1,027 yards and eight touchdowns.

Pinckney was cut from the Panthers' practice squad Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Pinckney had just signed with Carolina on Wednesday, but the reunion will not last. The Coastal Carolina product has been in and out of the Panthers' organization three times now since signing with them as an undrafted free agent in May.

Pinckney signed with the Panthers' practice squad Wednesday.
Pinckney signed with the team as a UDFA out of Coastal Carolina in May and was part of their final cuts Aug. 27. He'll now get another chance with the team, this time on their practice squad, where he'll work to get an opportunity with the 53-man roster.

The Panthers signed Pinckney on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Pinckney was waived by the Panthers on July 26 after being signed as an undrafted free agent, but the team has now decided to bring the 24-year-old wideout back. In 2023, Pinckney caught 72 passes for 1,027 yards and eight touchdowns at Coastal Carolina, and he'll likely compete for a depth spot in the Panthers' WR room as the preseason progresses.
