Texans' Tommy Togiai: Season-best tackling effort
Togiai recorded 10 tackles (two solo) and 1.0 sacks in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chiefs.
Togiai didn't post more than five tackles in a game through the first 10 outings, but he exploded in the key AFC clash. The 2021 fourth-round pick already has a career high in defensive snaps with 301 through 11 games. He likely will be tough to depend on for fantasy purposes, though.

Texans' Tommy Togiai: Signs extension with Houston
The Texans signed Togiai to a one-year contract extension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
While it's a decent pay raise for Togiai, it's still a relatively affordable contract for Houston, with a maximum value of $3.3 million. He didn't play in Week 1, but he figures to eventually contribute on the interior of the defensive line this season.

Texans' Tommy Togiai: Strong year with Houston
Togiai finished the 2024 regular season with 28 total tackles (11 solo), including 1.5 sacks, while also adding two passes defensed over eight games.
Togiai had a career resurgence in 2024 after not appearing in a contest in 2023, recording a career-high 28 tackles, while his 1.5 sacks and two passes defensed were also new highs. The defensive tackle didn't officially join the Texans active roster until late November and he'll look to secure a roster spot again in 2025.

Tommy Togiai: Headed to Jacksonville
Togiai (hamstring) signed with the Jaguars' practice squad Thursday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Togiai was dealing with a hamstring injury last season, but it seems that he's had enough time to move past the issue. The 23-year-old appeared in 18 games for Cleveland over his two years with the club, tallying 29 total tackles and one sack.

Togiai (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Browns' Tommy Togiai: Set to start Week 4
Togiai will start in place of the injured Taven Bryan (hamstring) in Sunday's game against the Falcons, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Togiai has appeared in all three games as part of the defensive tackle rotation, playing a total of 44 snaps while recording two tackles and half a sack. The 2021 fourth-round draft pick out of Ohio State appeared in six games as a rookie.
