Xavier Henderson: Cut by Washington
Henderson (undisclosed) was waived from the Commanders' active/PUP list with an injury settlement Thursday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
After being placed on the active/PUP list last week, the Commanders opted to move on from the undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. Henderson was set to compete for a depth safety role but will have to do so elsewhere.

Commanders' Xavier Henderson: Begins camp on PUP list
Henderson (undisclosed) has landed on Washington's active/PUP list to start training camp, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Henderson was picked up by the Commanders as an undrafted free agent this offseason. Once his health allows it, the rookie will be eligible to practice and play in the preseason. He is competing for a depth safety role with the club in the upcoming season.
