Chase Williams: Waived off IR
The Browns waived Williams (head) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday.
Williams was placed on the Browns' IR with a head injury following Cleveland's preseason finale against Seattle. Once he's healthy, Williams will look to sign a team in need of depth in the secondary.

Browns' Chase Williams: Reverts to IR
Cleveland reverted Williams (head) to injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Williams entered concussion protocols during the Browns' preseason finale versus Seattle on Saturday and was waived with an injury designation Monday. Because he's cleared waivers, the cornerback has reverted to IR and will miss the 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

Chase Williams: Waived by Browns
Cleveland waived Williams (head) with an injury designation Monday, per the team's official site.
Williams made an early exit from Saturday's preseason game against Seattle and was evaluated for a concussion. It's not clear how serious the issue is, but if Williams passes through waivers unclaimed, he'll likely go on IR and miss the season, barring an injury settlement with the team.

Browns' Chase Williams: Goes into concussion protocols
Williams is questionable to return to Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks after entering concussion protocols, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Williams was removed in the second half of Saturday's contest and will not be able to return unless he passes the league's concussion protocols. He registered four solo tackles before leaving the game.
