Darrin Hall: Waived by Pittsburgh
Hall was waived by the Steelers on Mondoay, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Steelers' Darrin Hall: Secures future contract
Hall signed a reserve/future deal with the Steelers on Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Hall was remarkable in his senior season at Pittsburgh, as he averaged 7.5 yards per carry en route to 1,144 yards and 10 scores. However, he couldn't make the cut at the top level despite stops in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Green Bay and now Pittsburgh. Hall will seek a depth role in 2020.

Darrin Hall: Exits Steel City again
The Steelers cut Hall from the practice squad Tuesday.
The Steelers' backfield is looking healthy again as James Conner and Trey Edmunds no longer carry injury tags. Hall's depth is no longer necessary as a result.

Darrin Hall: Rejoins practice squad
The Steelers signed Hall to the practice squad Thursday.
Hall was released from Pittsburgh's practice squad Tuesday, and he now rejoins the unit following the release of Sutton Smith. With James Conner (shoulder), Benny Snell (knee) and Trey Edmunds (ribs) all nursing injuries, Hall is a candidate to be lifted to the active roster as an emergency option.

Darrin Hall: Released from practice squad
Hall was released from the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Hall was unable to keep his spot on the practice squad in Pittsburgh when the team added wide receiver Terry Wright on Tuesday, so Hall will attempt to latch on elsewhere as his NFL debut still is pending.

Darrin Hall: Inks practice squad deal
Hall signed with the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
The undrafted rookie out of the University of Pittsburgh made stops in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Green Bay during the offseason but didn't stick anywhere. The Steelers are in a bind in the backfield, as James Conner hurt his shoulder and Benny Snell injured his knee in Week 8 while Jaylen Samuels is coming off his own knee issue. That leaves Trey Edmunds as the only fully healthy back, so they may lift Hall to the active roster in the event any of the wounded are unable to play Sunday against the Colts.

Darrin Hall: Let go Saturday
Hall was waived by the Packers on Saturday.
Hall had performed well throughout the preseason, leading the team in rushing in Week 2, but was completely phased out of the offense this week in favor of Tra Carson and Dexter Williams. Hall's collegiate acumen will likely afford himself another chance on an NFL roster, even if it's just the practice squad.

Packers' Darrin Hall: Leads Packers in rushing
Hall had seven carries for a team-leading 31 yards in Thursday's preseason loss to the Ravens.
Hall did rip off a 28-yard run Thursday, but he was bottled up on the rest of his carries, much like nearly every other Packers running back. Hall is seemingly on the outside looking in for a final roster spot, but another big play or two over the rest of the preseason certainly wouldn't hurt his chances.

Hall was waived by the Bengals on Friday, but quickly found a new team before the weekend ended. The running back had a stellar career at Pittsburgh, where he rushed for 2,189 yards and 21 touchdowns.
