Malik Henry: Let go Wednesday
The Colts activated Henry from the reserve/COVID-19 list and released him Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The good news is that Henry passed the COVID-19 health and safety protocols to gain clearance to return to team activities, which should help his case for finding work elsewhere. The West Georgia product joined the Colts on a reserve/future deal in December.

Colts' Malik Henry: Lands on reserve/COVID-19 list
The Colts have place Henry (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
The move doesn't necessarily mean Henry has tested positive for COVID-19, as players who have had contact with another individual who tested positive are also automatically placed on the temporary IR category. Once he receives medical clearance to return to practice, the undrafted free agent will be able to look to make an impression.

Henry signed a reserve/future contract with the Colts on Monday.
Henry signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in May and started the season on their practice squad, but he was released and eventually joined the Colts' practice squad in early December.
