    Monroe signed a contract with the Chiefs on Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star reports.

    Monroe was originally signed May 4 then waived three days after before being brought back to the team Tuesday. The San Jose State product played 12 games for the Spartans last season, making 56 tackles (32 solo) and four interceptions.
