  • Milton Wright: Gets waived from IR

The Chargers waived Wright (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

After sending him to IR on August 31, the Chargers have ultimately decided to part ways with Wright. He won't be able to sign with another team until he's healthy.

  • Chargers' Milton Wright: Shifts to IR

Wright (undisclosed) reverted to the Chargers' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

The nature of Wright's injury is unknown at this time. However, he is now in line to miss the entire season unless he and the team can come to terms with an injury settlement once he is nearing full health.

  • Milton Wright: Dealing with injury

The Chargers waived/injured Wright (undisclosed) on Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Wright seemed like a candidate to return via the practice squad, but being waived with an injury designation sets him up to revert to IR, barring a team claiming him. In that case, unless he reaches an injury settlement, Wright will be in position to miss the entire 2023 season.

  • Milton Wright: Cut by Bolts

The Chargers waived Wright on Tuesday.

Wright turned a late-July tryout opportunity with the Chargers into the full training camp experience. He always figured to be a long shot in terms of landing on the 53-man roster, but he clearly made an impression to last in camp as long as he did. The Purdue product recorded 732 yards and seven touchdowns on 57 receptions during his final collegiate season.
