JoJo Ward: Leaving Cleveland
Ward was waived by the Browns on Friday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Ward latched on with the Cardinals after getting passed over in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was ultimately cut earlier in the week and subsequently landed with the Browns. However, his time there will be short-lived and he'll now seek a new opportunity.

Browns' JoJo Ward: Gets chance in Cleveland
The Browns signed Ward on Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Ward spent time with the Cardinals earlier this summer and was on the team's practice squad during the 2020 season, but he never logged a stint on the active roster. The 23-year-old will now look to stand out in Cleveland.

Ward signed a reserve/future contract with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
The 23-year-old failed to make Arizona's season-opening roster in training camp, but he subsequently latched onto the practice squad. Ward went undrafted out of Hawaii in the spring and was unable to make his NFL debut in 2020.

The Cardinals signed Ward to the practice squad Sunday, Tadd Haislop of SportingNews.com reports.
Ward spent the offseason in Arizona after being passed over in April's draft, but he wasn't able to earn a roster spot within the team's deep receiver room. The Hawaii product will join fellow wideouts Andre Patton and A.J. Richardson on the practice squad.
