Alex Williams: Suspension lifted by league
The NFL lifted Williams' six-game suspension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Per Wilson, the NFL handed Williams a six-game suspension in mid-October. The suspension has now been lifted, which gives Williams the opportunity to sign with a team in need of depth at defensive tackle.

Alexander Musch Williams: Let go by Minnesota
The Vikings waived Williams (undisclosed) from injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Williams was placed on the Vikings' IR in early August due to an undisclosed issue. He'll now have a chance to sign with another team in need of depth at defensive tackle once he is fully healthy.

Vikings' Alex Williams: Going to Minnesota's IR
Williams (undisclosed) reverted to the Vikings' injured-reserve list Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Williams wasn't picked up by another club after Minnesota waived him with an injury designation Thursday, so he's now going on the team's injured-reserve list. He'll spend the entire season there unless the two parties reach an injury settlement.

Alex Williams: Waived by Minnesota
Williams (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Vikings on Thursday.
The defensive tackle will revert to Minnesota's injured-reserve list unless he's claimed on waivers by another team. If Williams reverts to IR, he will need to reach an injury settlement with the Vikings to have a chance to play in 2025. The Middle Tennessee State product signed with the Vikings in the spring as an undrafted free agent.
