  • Titans' Anthony Firkser: Goes without catch against Colts

Firkser did not haul in his only target during Sunday's 45-26 win against Indianapolis.

Tennessee only elected to go to the air 22 times against the AFC South rival Colts. Instead, pounding the rock 45 times to the tune of 5.1 yards per attempt with four rushing scores. Firkser posted multiple receptions in six of his seven preceding appearances entering Week 12, but Sunday's effort represented his second zero-catch effort of the 2020 campaign. He remains with one TD on the season as Tennessee readies for a Week 13 home game against Cleveland.

  • Titans' Will Compton: Promoted from practice squad

Compton signed to the Titans' active roster from the practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

The 31-year-old re-signed with Tennessee on Tuesday as he continues to bounce between the team's practice squad and active roster. Compton mostly played special teams in his early-season appearances, but he had nine tackles while playing a bigger defensive role in the past two games.

  • Titans' Jeffery Simmons: Notches third sack

Simmons recorded four tackles, including one sack, and also defensed a pass in Week 12 against the Colts.

Simmons recorded his third sack of the season early in the third quarter and ended a Colts drive. He also helped the Titans play stout run defense, stuffing Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins on several occasions for short gains. Simmons has been a major part of the Titans defense this season, logging at least a 70 percent snap rate in all but one contest.

  • Titans' Kenny Vaccaro: Paces team in tackles Week 12

Vaccaro collected nine total tackles during Sunday's 45-26 win against the Colts.

Vaccaro missed Tennessee's Week 11 win at Baltimore because of a concussion, but he was able to return to full participation in practice by the following Wednesday. The Texas product has been active with 17 tackles over his past two appearances, but he remains without a takeaway in 2020. He's allowed two touchdowns while in coverage, surrendering a 76.7 percent completion rate over 30 targets this season.

  • Titans' D'Onta Foreman: Volume rebounds in big win

Foreman carried the ball four times for 28 yards in Week 12 against the Colts.

Foreman saw his volume rebound in the Titans' blowout win after receiving only one carry in Week 11. However, he contributed a bit even when the game was close, recording gains of five and 12 yards on a touchdown-scoring drive that put the Titans up 28-14. Foreman continues to split backup duties with Jeremy McNichols.

  • Titans' Jeremy McNichols: Eight carries in blowout win

McNichols carried the ball eight times for 20 yards in Week 12 against the Colts.

McNichols saw the relatively high workload as the Titans maintained a three-touchdown lead for the entire second half. While the game was competitive, Derrick Henry dominated the backfield and logged 17 carries in the first half. McNichols continues to share backup running back duties with D'Onta Foreman.

  • Titans' Geoff Swaim: Records three catches

Swaim secured all three targets for 30 yards in Week 12 against the Colts.

Swaim was the Titans' most productive tight end and was on the field for a season-high 64 percent of offensive snaps. He served as a blocker for the majority of his time on the field, however, as the Titans attempted only seven passes in the second half. Swaim has increasingly gained a role in the offense of late, though that has resulted in only four receptions for 39 yards across three contests.

  • Titans' Stephen Gostkowski: Another perfect day

Gostkowski made his lone field-goal attempt and all six of his extra-point attempts in Week 12 against the Colts.

Gostkowski posted his second consecutive week with perfect accuracy, though it wasn't his most challenging assignment. Kicking in the comforts of a dome, Gostkowski made a 49-yard attempt late in the third quarter to put the team up 38-14. Even given the low-pressure performance, Gostkowski has now made his last 11 kicks including both extra points and field goals.

  • Titans' Jonnu Smith: Uninvolved against Colts

Smith did not receive a target in Week 12 against Colts.

The Titans attempted only 22 passes in their blowout win over the Colts. That provides a partial explanation for Smith's lack of involvement, though tight ends Geoff Swaim and Anthony Firkser both drew targets in the contest. Like many of the Titans' secondary receivers, Smith commands unreliable volume and now has two or fewer catches six or his last seven games. He'll draw a matchup against Cleveland in Week 13.

  • Titans' Corey Davis: Makes most of three targets

Davis recorded three receptions on three targets for 70 yards in Week 12 against the Colts.

Davis matched his lowest target total of the season as the Titans threw only seven passes in the second half. Even so, he ripped off long receptions of 37 and 21 yards prior to halftime to make the most of his opportunities. Prior to this contest, Davis had seen at least six targets in four of five games, so he could see more volume in Week 13 against the Browns.

  • Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Makes most off 22 attempts

Tannehill completed 13 of 22 pass attempts for 221 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 12 against the Colts. He added three yards and an additional touchdown on the ground.

Tannehill threw just seven passes in the second half as Tennessee held a three-score lead for the entirety of the final two quarters. However, he still managed to produce thanks to a long 69-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown in the first quarter, the majority of which came after the catch. Tannehill also found the end zone with his legs on a one-yard scamper just before halftime. Tannehill will likely be forced to do more to earn a win in Week 13 against the Browns.

  • Titans' A.J. Brown: Delivers long touchdown

Brown recorded four receptions on six targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Colts.

The Titans didn't need to take to the air regularly as they maintained a significant lead throughout the entire second half. However, Brown did his damage early on, ripping off a 69-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter -- over 50 of which came after the catch. He also displayed his athleticism late in the game when he fielded an onside kick and returned it for a game-clinching trip to the end zone. Despite having yet to command double-digit targets in any game, Brown has now scored in seven of his nine contests this season. He'll draw a matchup against Cleveland in Week 13.
