VIDEO: Avalanche remake Imagine Dragons music video
The Colorado Avalanche want to know Why not us? this season so of course they made their own music video for Imagine Dragons' 'Radioactive.'
It's kind of funny how this works; rock stars often dream of being professional athletes and professional athletes dream of being rock stars. A few of the Colorado Avalanche's young stars now know what it feels like.
Nathan MacKinnon, Matt Duchene, Paul Stastny and Gabriel Landeskog got the chance to play music video star for a day with the Avs' version of the Imagine Dragons song Radioactive. It's the same song, just with the Avalanche players making up the video. Well, aside from an actual Imagine Dragons cameo on the drums.
Whether you're sick of the song like I am or not, it's hard to deny the video is entirely GIFable. Take MacKinnon and all his swag for instance.
Also, props to Duchene for being the most into the song, at points he's really lip-syncing that tune good. Coach will be happy to see him giving it 110 percent.
The captain Landeskog wins the award for the most dramatic including the one and only speaking part in the video by an Avalanche player for his closing line of "Why not us?" While it's a good question this season we're just going to remain focused on this video for now.
