VIDEO: Clark MacArthur with beautiful between-legs assist
Senators forward Clarke MacArthur assisted on Kyle Turris' goal on Wednesday and was it ever an assist; a between-the-legs pass.
In the opening minutes of their game at home against Minnesota, the Senators forward was leading a 2-on-1 rush with Turris streaking through the slot. With defensemen Ryan Suter taking away the passing lane as is customary, MacArthur had to get creative. Instead of stopping on a dime and allowing the back-checkers to come back into the play, he just decided to play the puck behind him and in between his legs.
The result was a pass right onto Turris' stick and an eventual goal, one very nice goal thanks to the assist.
Let's enjoy that again, in GIF form (via @CJZero):
Who says passing can't get you the glory? Certainly not MacArthur.
