  • Senators' Max Reinhart: Coming back to North America

Reinhart signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Saturday.

Reinhart, 25, played last season in Germany, where he only produced six goals and 17 assists in 52 games. It's unlikely he'll see any fantasy-relevant ice time in 2017-18, but he's still young enough to develop into a bottom-six forward in the big league.

  • Max Reinhart: Signs with German team

Reinhart agreed to a contract with Kolner Haie of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga on Monday.

Reinhart was a top contributor for AHL Milwaukee last season prior to the team falling apart in the postseason as he tallied 23 goals and 15 helpers on the year. Despite his success in the minors, the 24-year-old failed to make an appearance for the Predators during the 2015-16 campaign. Given his youth, the winger could certainly make a return to North American hockey, but will need to take advantage of his opportunities to be a scoring leader in Germany.

  • Predators' Max Reinhart: Pots hat trick Friday vs. Wolves

Reinhart tallied his second hat trick of the season to power the AHL Milwaukee Admirals to a 4-1 win over the Chicago Wolves on Friday night.

Reinhart leads the Ads in goals with 15 in 51 games, and he's fourth in total points with 26. His plus-minus rating of +15 is also tops on the team. At this late stage of the season, it's unlikely we'll see Reinhart at the NHL level unless the Preds run into injury trouble, but expect him to be in the running for a roster spot next season.

  • Predators' Max Reinhart: Key contributor at AHL Milwaukee

Reinhart leads the AHL Milwaukee Admirals in scoring so far this season with 10 goals in 32 games, and he's tied for third in total points with 17.

The only real knock against Rienhart this season is his team-worst minus-10 rating, which means he's still struggling with the defensive side of his game, something he will need to work on before he can expect to see any time at the NHL level. At just 23 years old, Reinhart still has plenty of time to make it to the next level, but considering he was drafted five years ago (third-round pick in 2010), it's taken longer for him to graduate to the big leagues than anyone expected.
