Markus Granlund: Headed overseas
Granlund agreed to terms on a contract with KHL club Salavat Yulaev Ufa on Sunday, TSN.ca reports.
Granlund started the 2019-20 campaign on the 23-man roster with Edmonton, but after struggling to produce was waived and shipped down to the minors in late December. The 26-year-old made a few more appearances in the NHL prior to the league going on hiatus, yet he was ultimately limited to just 34 contests in which he logged 10:50 of ice time per game.
