  • Panthers' Petteri Lindbohm: Joins active roster

Lindbohm was promoted to Florida's active roster Sunday, David Dwork of WPLG Local 10 News reports. Lindbohm will slide into the roster spot created by Ryan Lomberg's (undisclosed) placement on IR. The 28-year-old Finn will provide insurance as the team's seventh healthy defenseman, but Lindbohm likely won't dress for game action barring an injury on Florida's blue line.

  • Panthers' Petteri Lindbohm: Signs with Panthers

Lindbohm signed with Florida for the remainder of 2021-22. The 28-year-old will need to clear waivers prior to joining the Panthers, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports. Lindbohm won the Olympic gold medal with Finland and became available after his club Jokerit withdrew from the KHL playoffs. Over 40 appearances for St. Louis, he has generated three points but hasn't played in NHL since 2016-17. With Jokerit this season, Lindbohm recorded eight points over 45 performances.
