Kings' Vladimir Tkachev: Returning to Russia
Tkachev signed a one-year contract with Avangard Omsk of the KHL on Monday.
Tkachev made his NHL debut in 2021-22, logging two assists in four games with the Kings. He had 29 points in 41 contests with AHL Ontario, but he'll play back in his hometown in Russia in 2022-23. The Kings will need to extend the pending restricted free agent a qualifying offer to retain his NHL rights, but at 26 years old, it's no guarantee he'll return to North American hockey in his career.

Kings' Vladimir Tkachev: Returns to AHL
The Kings reassigned Tkachev to AHL Ontario on Friday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Tkachev has bounced between the two rosters this season but hasn't played for Los Angeles since Oct. 25. He figures to receive another call-up in the near future.

Tkachev was recalled from AHL Ontario on Thursday.
Tkachev will rejoin the Kings after being loaned to AHL Ontario in November. During his stint in the AHL, he recorded four goals and 14 assists over 15 appearances.

Tkachev was held scoreless in three games after notching two assists in his NHL debut earlier this season. He also tallied an assist in his lone game with AHL Ontario. The 26-year-old winger could continue shuffling between levels somewhat regularly.
