Sabres' Adam Wilcox: Secures two-way pact
The Sabres signed Wilcox to a two-way deal for the remainder of the season.
Wilcox will now be eligible to participate in playoffs if the Sabres make it, but he was immediately waived for the purpose of reassignment to AHL Rochester. Wilcox has an .896 save percentage over 21 contests with the minor-league club this season. Unless Linus Ullmark or Carter Hutton gets injured, don't expect to see Wilcox at the NHL level.

Sabres' Adam Wilcox: Makes NHL debut in relief
Wilcox stopped all 14 shots he faced in relief Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Florida.
It was the goalie's NHL debut, but despite his strong play, Wilcox is likely to be saddled with the loss. The Panthers scored an empty net goal on his watch, only to have a teammate score with 17 seconds left to bring the score up to 4-3.

Sabres' Adam Wilcox: Bumped up to top level
Wilcox was called up from AHL Rochester on Friday.
This transaction was processed in the wake of a lower-body injury to Robin Lehner, and Linus Ullmark (undisclosed) is concussed. Wilcox jumps to the big stage after going 11-7-2 with a 2.82 GAA and .903 save percentage through 28 games with the AHL's Americans. If the two aforementioned netminders don't suit up for Saturday's road game against the Predators, we might see Wilcox serving as the immediate backup behind Chad Johnson.

Panthers' Adam Wilcox: Signs with Buffalo
Wilcox signed a one-year deal with Buffalo on Saturday.
A sixth-round pick in the 2011 NHL draft, Wilcox has spent the last three seasons in the AHL, making 47 appearances with AHL Syracuse and AHL Springfield this past season. The former Minnesota Golden Gopher was brilliant with Springfield, registering a 2.02 GAA and .932 save percentage. Robin Lehner and Chad Johnson will man the pipes with the Sabres, which means Wilcox will begin the season with AHL Rochester and battle Linus Ullmark and Jonas Johansson for the starting job.

Panthers' Adam Wilcox: Demoted to minors
Wilcox was reassigned to AHL Springfield on Thursday.
The young netminder didn't play during his week-long recall, and his demotion implies that fellow goalie James Reimer (upper body) will be ready to go for Thursday's tilt with the Blues. After struggling with Tampa Bay's AHL affiliate, Wilcox has regained his footing with Springfield, posting a 2.02 GAA and .932 save percentage in nine games since being traded.

Panthers' Adam Wilcox: Zips up to NHL
Wilcox was recalled from AHL Springfield on an emergency basis Thursday.
Formerly with the Lightning, Wilcox heads to the parent club with James Reimer (upper body) and Roberto Luongo (lower body) both ailing. The 24-year-old has impressed with the minor-league Thunderbirds this season, going 4-3-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .932 save percentage over nine games. He's reportedly on track to serve as the backup to Reto Berra for Thursday's road contest against the Habs.

Panthers' Adam Wilcox: Swaps Florida homes
Wilcox was dealt from the Lightning to the Panthers for fellow minor league goalie Mike McKenna on Wednesday, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The 24-year-old netminder has put up ugly numbers for AHL Syracuse -- a 2.87 GAA and .895 save percentage -- despite a sparkling 18-9-2 record that can largely be attributed to the offense in front of him. In fact, he's put up three straight seasons with sub-.900 save percentages. Wilcox will surely remain in the minors with his new organization, replacing McKenna as the backup with AHL Springfield.

Lightning's Adam Wilcox: Headed back to AHL
Wilcox is being sent back to AHL Syracuse.
Wilcox was rumored to be nearing his NHL debut, but the coaches must not have been impressed enough with him during the practice sessions to give him a run between the pipes. The team recalled Kristers Gudlevskis from the Crunch on Monday to take his place as the temporary backup behind Andrei Vasilevskiy while Ben Bishop (lower body) is sidelined.
