Ahac has an undisclosed injury and is considered day-to-day, Golden Knights GM Kelly McCrimmon told Ben Gotz of the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Thursday.
Ahac had a goal and four points in 34 AHL games with Henderson last season. The 22-year-old defenseman hasn't played in the NHL yet.

Golden Knights' Layton Ahac: Healthy, sent down Thursday
Ahac (undisclosed) was activated from injured reserve and assigned to AHL Henderson on Thursday, per CapFriendly.
Ahac was injured at some point during training camp, but he's now healthy enough to begin his season. The 20-year-old defenseman figures to play almost exclusively with the Silver Knights this season.
