Stars' Remi Poirier: Sent back to AHL
Poirier was loaned to AHL Texas on Monday.
With Casey DeSmith (personal) returning to the active roster ahead of Tuesday's game against Carolina, Poirier will return to AHL in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old netminder served as the backup for Jake Oettinger during Sunday's contest against Montreal, but Poirier still hasn't made his NHL debut yet. Through 22 appearances with Texas this season, Poirier has an 8-10-4 record, a .903 save percentage and a 2.77 GAA.

Stars' Remi Poirier: Recalled from AHL
Poirier was called up from AHL Texas on Saturday.
The Stars designated backup goaltender Casey DeSmith (personal) as a non-roster player in a corresponding move. Poirier has a record of 8-10-4 with a 2.77 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 22 AHL appearances this season. He could see action Tuesday in Carolina or Wednesday in Washington, if DeSmith has not returned to the roster.

Stars' Remi Poirier: Records shutout Monday
Poirier posted a 25-save shutout in AHL Texas' 3-0 win over Manitoba on Monday.
Poirier earned his first shutout of the AHL season and the fifth of his career in the minor league. The 24-year-old has posted a 2.02 GAA and a .924 save percentage through six outings despite a 2-3-1 record. Poirier is filling a starting role over Ben Kraws with Texas.

Stars' Remi Poirier: Signs two-year contract
Poirier signed a two-year, two-way contract with Dallas on Monday.
Poirier posted a 17-11-2 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .908 save percentage in 31 regular-season appearances with AHL Texas in 2024-25. The 23-year-old netminder doesn't have any NHL experience yet and will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
