  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Puts up three points

Broz scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-0 win over Rochester on Saturday.

Broz was in just his second game after missing over six weeks due to injury. He's earned five points since his return. Overall, he has a career-high 39 points over 47 appearances, surpassing his 37-point output from 59 games in the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Posts trio of helpers

Broz logged three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 6-5 win over Lehigh Valley on Friday.

Broz missed some time for the AHL club in late January, but his return to the lineup was a good one. He's earned four goals and seven assists over his last six outings. Overall, he's at 14 goals, 31 points and a plus-12 rating through 37 appearances. He's earned a couple of call-ups to the NHL but has just one game under his belt for Pittsburgh so far.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Shipped down to minors

Broz was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday.

Broz didn't get into the lineup versus the Lightning on Tuesday, serving as a healthy scratch. The youngster will likely suit up for the Baby Pens in Wednesday's clash with AHL Providence, which would technically make him eligible to be called back up ahead of Pittsburgh's matchup with Philadelphia on Thursday.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Recalled from minors

Broz was promoted from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.

Broz will change places with Rafael Harvey-Pinard, who was sent down to the minors in a corresponding move. Selected by the Pens in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft, the 23-year-old Broz has racked up 11 goals and 13 helpers in 33 games for the Baby Pens. With the youngster on the NHL roster, he could be pressed into service versus the Lightning on Tuesday.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Four points in AHL win

Broz scored a goal and added three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 5-1 win over Charlotte on Friday.

Broz was limited to just seven points in 12 outings in December, so this was a positive performance to get him back on track. The 23-year-old winger is now at 11 goals and 24 points over 32 appearances this season. He's also earned a call-up and his NHL debut this season, but Broz will need to continue to play well with WBS to get more opportunities with the big club.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Sent back to AHL

Broz was re-assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton by the Penguins, the team announced Sunday.

Broz made his NHL debut Nov. 26 during his stint with the Penguins, recording two shots on goal in 11:30 of ice time. He'll head back to the AHL along with Danton Heinen, which likely means that the Penguins expect to get back one of their injured forwards. The 23-year-old Broz has 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in 18 games at the AHL level.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Earns promotion

Broz was called up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.

Broz's offensive upside has been on full display with the Baby Pens, racking up a team-leading eight goals and five helpers in 18 minor-league games. In a corresponding move, Philip Tomasino was officially sent down to the minors after passing through waivers Nov. 19. The Penguins are dealing with a raft of injuries among the forward group, which could see Broz elevated to a top-six role.

  • Penguins' Tristan Broz: Lifts Baby Pens to win

Broz scored twice and added an assist in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 4-1 win over Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

Broz was held off the scoresheet in the AHL opener, but he made a big impact in the second game. The 23-year-old winger did a fine job as a minor-league rookie last year, netting 19 goals with 18 assists over 59 regular-season outings. He's likely to spend much of 2025-26 in the minors as he continues his development, though a strong run of scoring could prompt a promotion.
