  • Sharks' Jonah Gadjovich: Added to roster

Gadjovich resolved his visa issues Thursday and has been removed from non-roster injured reserve, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Gadjovich has just one game of NHL experience under his belt and may have to wait until after Saturday's clash with Winnipeg to get a crack with the Sharks. Even once the 23-year-old Ontario native is more familiar with his new team, he will likely still be a bottom-six option and may have to spend some time watching from the press box.

  • Sharks' Jonah Gadjovich: Dealing with visa issue

Gadjovich's absence has been clarified as an immigration issue, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Gadjovich's designation for non-roster injured reserve raised some speculation he might be dealing with a previously undisclosed injury, though it appears the winger is fully fit. At this point, it's unclear if the Ontario native would be eligible to suit up during the Sharks' upcoming three-game road trip even if his U.S. visa situation remains unresolved.

  • Sharks' Jonah Gadjovich: Listed as non-roster

Gadjovich (undisclosed) was placed on the non-roster list Tuesday, per CapFriendly.

Gadjovich was claimed off of waivers from the Canucks last Thursday. It's unclear when the 23-year-old will be able to make his Sharks debut. He should be able to challenge for a bottom-six role on a team lacking forward depth.

  • Sharks' Jonah Gadjovich: Claimed by San Jose

Gadjovich was claimed off waivers by the Sharks from the Canucks on Thursday, PuckPedia reports.

Gadjovich has only appeared in one NHL contest since being selected by the Canucks with the 55th overall pick of the 2017 Entry Draft, but he's performed at a pretty high level in the AHL over the past two campaigns, racking up 28 goals and 35 points in 57 contests with AHL Utica. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 22-year-old winger included on the Sharks' Opening Night roster.

Gadjovich was waived by the Canucks on Wednesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.

  • Canucks' Jonah Gadjovich: Dropped to taxi squad

Gadjovich was demoted to the taxi squad Tuesday.

Gadjovich will make way for William Lockwood to make his NHL debut as the Canucks continue to rotate the squad in these meaningless regular-season contests.

  • Canucks' Jonah Gadjovich: Set to join big club

Gadjovich is headed to Vancouver to fulfill a quarantine before joining the Canucks, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

It's unclear when Gadjovich will be eligible to play for the Canucks, but there's a chance he could make his NHL debut prior to their season finale, which is scheduled for May 19. The 22-year-old winger currently leads AHL Utica with 15 goals in 19 games.

  • Canucks' Jonah Gadjovich: Thriving in AHL

Gadjovich has nine points in nine games for AHL Utica.

Gadjovich is off to a nice start with the Comets, with eight of his nine points being goals. This is his third year with the team, scoring 17 points in 38 games last season, and 10 points in 43 contests the year prior. The 2017 second-round selection could be taking the next step in his development, and could earn himself a call to the big club if he continues this level of play.

  • Canucks' Jonah Gadjovich: AHL struggles continue

Gadjovich scored just his second goal of the season in AHL Utica's 4-1 win over Laval on Wednesday.

It was Gadjovich's first tally in more than three months. The former OHL scoring star has found the transition to professional hockey an exceedingly difficult one. His lack of production is even more concerning when you take into account the fact that Gadjovich was widely considered to be one of the more physically developed players available in the 2017 draft. Plenty of guys have gone onto NHL success after a tough first year in the minors, but the 20-year-old has the look of a bottom-six guy for Vancouver as opposed to a legitimate scoring option.

  • Canucks' Jonah Gadjovich: Signs entry-level deal

Gadjovich has agreed with Vancouver to a three-year entry-level contract, Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet reports.

After tearing up the OHL in the 2016-17 season with 74 points in 60 games, Gadjovich has finally cashed in on his strong play at the junior level. The 19-year-old boasts a strong two-way game, but it's unlikely he'll appear in the Vancouver organization until next season.
