Senators' Jorian Donovan: Sent down after Sunday's game
Donovan was loaned to AHL Belleville on Sunday.
Donovan was brought up ahead of Saturday's game against Minnesota but did not suit up, and he also didn't play in Sunday's 6-3 win over Carolina. The Senators currently have six healthy blueliners on their roster, so another defenseman might be brought up as insurance for Tuesday's home matchup versus Tampa Bay.

Senators' Jorian Donovan: Back in NHL
Donovan was recalled from AHL Belleville on Saturday.
Donovan made his NHL debut against Detroit on March 24 and was held off the scoresheet in two games before being sent back to Belleville last Sunday. Donovan had four goals and 17 assists in 59 minor-league games prior to his recall. The Senators are hurting on the blue line, as six defensemen have injuries. There's a good chance that Donovan will be in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against Minnesota.

Donovan was assigned to AHL Belleville on Sunday.
During his call-up from the minors, Donovan didn't earn a point in his first two NHL appearances while posting one shot on net, two hits and one blocked shot. He has notched four goals and 17 assists in 58 AHL outings this season.

Donovan was recalled from AHL Belleville on Tuesday.
The Senators are dealing with numerous injuries to their blue line, so Donovan is poised to make his NHL debut in Detroit on Tuesday. The left-shot defenseman was taken in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old Donovan has registered four goals, 17 helpers and a minus-12 rating over 58 appearances this season.
