Sabres' Trevor Kuntar: Pots pair in AHL win
Kuntar scored twice in AHL Rochester's 4-3 shootout win over Cleveland on Monday.
Kuntar's third season in the AHL has seen him take a step forward with 19 goals and 34 points across 64 appearances. He's earned five points over his last five games for Rochester. Kuntar signed a two-way contract in December and made his NHL debut Dec. 11 versus the Canucks, but he's far from being a full-time option for the Sabres.

Sabres' Trevor Kuntar: Back in AHL
Kuntar was reassigned to AHL Rochester on Saturday, per Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News.
Kuntar made his NHL debut Thursday, picking up one hit over 5:12 of ice time. The 24-year-old had nine goals and four helpers in 24 AHL games before his recall. The Sabres recalled Noah Ostlund from Rochester in a corresponding move.

Sabres' Trevor Kuntar: Inks two-way deal
Kuntar agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Sabres on Wednesday.
Kuntar has nine goals, 13 points and 43 PIM in 24 outings with AHL Rochester in 2025-26. The 24-year-old had been playing with Rochester on a one-year AHL contract, and he's now eligible to be summoned to Buffalo. Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports Kuntar will join the Sabres ahead of their game in Vancouver on Thursday.

Trevor Kuntar: Not issued qualifying offer
Kuntar didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Bruins on Monday, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Kuntar made 54 regular-season appearances for AHL Providence last year and recorded three goals, nine assists and 76 PIM. He hasn't yet appeared in an NHL game but will seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Bruins' Trevor Kuntar: Sent to AHL
Kuntar will report to AHL Providence after being cut by the Bruins on Sunday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
Kuntar has yet to make an appearance in the NHL. He spent the 2023-24 campaign with the Providence Bruins, registering 20 points in 70 regular-season games.
