  • Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Adds three points in AHL win

Brind'Amour scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 5-2 win over Milwaukee on Saturday. Brind'Amour has four goals and four assists over his last six games. The forward is up to 13 points through 22 appearances for the Wolves this season. He's over halfway to matching his total from last year (24 points in 68 regular-season outings), but the 26-year-old doesn't seem likely to get much of a chance with the Hurricanes in 2025-26.

  • Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Two of each in AHL win

Brind'Amour scored twice and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 8-4 win over Rockford on Wednesday. Brind'Amour nearly doubled his output for the season with this four-point game. He's at five goals, four assists, 29 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 17 appearances. The 26-year-old is on pace to surpass his 24-point performance from 68 regular-season games a year ago, but he's unlikely to be near the top of the list for the Hurricanes whenever they need a forward call-up.

  • Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Staying in Carolina's organization

Brind'Amour penned a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Hurricanes on Monday, per PuckPedia. Brind'Amour appeared in two regular-season games with the Hurricanes in 2024-25, scoring his first career NHL goal on his only shot. The left-shot forward also recorded 16 goals, 24 points and a minus-14 rating over 68 regular-season appearances with AHL Chicago. Carolina has a deep forward group, and considering Brind'Amour's new deal is a two-way contract, he's likely to spend the whole campaign with the Wolves unless multiple injuries open up a spot with the big club.

  • Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Back in AHL

  • Hurricanes' Skylar Brind'Amour: Assigned to AHL

Brind'Amour was assigned to AHL Chicago on Sunday. After spending most of camp with the Hurricanes on a PTO, Brind'Amour signed a one-year, two-way contract with the team Sunday. He'll head to the minors ahead of the regular season after making 54 appearances for AHL Charlotte last year. It wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most of the 2024-25 campaign with the Wolves.
