Basha was reassigned from AHL Calgary to WHL Medicine Hat on Friday.
The Flames second-round pick in 2024, 41st overall, Basha managed only one goal and four assists in 27 AHL contests. He will get a chance to play a lot more at the junior level, including seeing plenty of time on the power play.

Basha signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Calgary on Sunday.
Basha has one goal and one assist through two games this campaign for WHL Medicine Hat. He had 30 goals and 85 points across 63 WHL contests in 2023-24. Calgary selected the 18-year-old forward with the No. 41 pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
