Top Ian Moore News

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Tickles twine Wednesday

Moore scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Bruins.

With Radko Gudas back from a lower-body injury, Moore has maintained his place in the lineup over Pavel Mintyukov. The 23-year-old Moore is still filling a third-pairing role, giving him minimal upside in fantasy in what's a mostly defensive assignment. He's at three points, 14 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Pots goal in high-scoring win

Moore scored a goal and added four PIM in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Stars.

The goal was Moore's first point of the season. The 23-year-old has added six shots on net, eight PIM, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over seven appearances in a third-pairing role. Moore is likely to stay in the lineup as long as Radko Gudas (lower body) is sidelined.

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Back with big club

Moore was called up from AHL San Diego on Friday.

The Ducks are set to begin a road trip in Chicago on Sunday, the first of five straight games away from the Honda Center. Moore's recall is likely to make sure the team has an extra defenseman on hand -- the Ducks had been rolling with just six blueliners early in the season.

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Dropped to minors

Moore was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Monday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Moore played in just three NHL games last season in which he tallied one assist, one hit and four shots while averaging 13:38 of ice time. While the Ducks could still bring Moore back up to the NHL roster before Opening Night against the Kraken on Thursday, it seems likely he will start the year in the minors with the Gulls.

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Collects first NHL assist

Moore posted an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Jets.

This was Moore's first point in three NHL games. The defenseman added four shots on net, a hit, a blocked shot and a plus-1 rating. Moore signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks last Saturday, and playing this season burned the first year off that deal. He'll be in the mix for a spot on the blue line during training camp ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Ducks' Ian Moore: Signs entry-level deal

Moore has signed an entry-level contract and will join Anaheim on Saturday.

Moore, a third-round pick in 2020, logged three goals and 14 points in 32 games with Harvard this year before posting a goal and five points across nine appearances with AHL San Diego. The 23-year-old Moore is a highly regarded defensive prospect, and he should get an extended look with the Ducks over the final week of the regular season.
