Turcotte (concussion) has been activated and assigned to AHL Ontario on Thursday.
Turcotte suffered the concussion in May while seeing action in the AHL. It has taken a long time to get over the symptoms, but now Turcotte will get a chance to resume his career. He was selected fifth overall in the 2019 Draft, but he has managed to play only eight games in the NHL, with all coming last season. Turcotte has yet to garner a point for the Kings.

Turcotte (concussion) has skated on his own, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Turcotte suffered the concussion while playing in the AHL back in May. He wasn't able to participate in Los Angeles' rookie camp as a result and updates on his recovery have been sparse. It's encouraging that he's skating, but it's not clear when Turcotte will return.

Kings' Alex Turcotte: Still awaiting medical clearance
Turcotte (concussion) has not been cleared by the Kings' medical staff and won't participate in the team's rookie camp, Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period reports Thursday.
Turcotte suffered his concussion back in May while playing in the AHL. The fact that he still hasn't been cleared by the team certainly should be a red flag for fantasy players, especially if he is unable to participate in training camp. Given his extended layoff, the 21-year-old center may have to start the 2022-23 campaign in the minors in order to get his legs back under him.

Kings' Alex Turcotte: Sustains concussion
Turcotte suffered a concussion during the AHL playoffs, which has raised concerns within the organization, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radioreports.
It was the second concussion of the season for Turcotte, who was not going to be able to play again in the playoffs as a result. In his eight NHL appearances this year, the Illinois native failed to register a point while tallying 13 shots, eight hits and two PIM. GIven the concern within the team, Turcotte's status for Opening Night of the 2022-23 season could be in jeopardy, though no official statement has been released.

Turcotte was sent down to AHL Ontario on Tuesday, per LA Kings' Insider Jared Shafran.
With the Kings off until Thursday, the decision to demote Turcotte to the minors shouldn't come as a surprise. Despite his solid production in the minors with 10 points in 18 contests, the Illinois native has yet to register his first NHL point after being held off the scoresheet in his first eight contests.
