    Warren was returned to AHL Bridgeport on Monday. Warren was called up by the Islanders on Wednesday, but he didn't appear in any games during this stint with the NHL club. He made his NHL debut earlier this year by appearing in two games with the Islanders, but he should see more consistent opportunities to play in the minors.

He's largely struggled on offense since a brief stint in the NHL during October. Overall, the 24-year-old blueliner has nine points over 10 AHL games this season, which is more than halfway to surpassing his 17-point effort across 53 regular-season games a year ago.

Warren is the second defenseman in Isles history to have multiple points in his NHL debut (Rich Pilon, Oct. 6, 1988). He was off to a great start with Bridgeport (AHL) before his call-up. Warren had two goals and three assists in four games there.

    Warren was recalled from AHL Bridgeport on Thursday. Warren is off to a hot start in the AHL, as the defenseman has two goals and five points in his first four games with Bridgeport. He will replace Alexander Romanov (upper body) on the roster after Romanov was placed on injured reserve earlier in the day. Warren could make his NHL debut as early as Thursday versus Detroit.
