His best game was a 12-carry, 97-yard effort against Southern Miss on Sept. 25. Sophomore Roydell Williams has 24 carries for 154 yards (6.4 average) and one score. Against Southern Miss, he had 11 carries for 110 yards, including a long of 55, and one TD.

The Aggies have been led by sophomore quarterback Zach Calzada, who is off to an up-and-down start to his season. Calzada has completed 69 of 128 passes (53.9 percent) for 744 yards and five touchdowns. He has been intercepted four times and has a rating of 109.4. His best game came in the team's last win, a 34-0 win over New Mexico on Sept. 18. In that game, Calzada completed 19 of 33 passes (57.6 percent) for 275 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.

Defensively, the Aggies are led by sophomore defensive back Antonio Johnson, who has come up big when needed. He leads the team with 41 tackles, including 29 solo, with four pass breakups. Last week against Mississippi State, Johnson made 15 tackles, including nine solo. He also made nine solo tackles and broke up two passes in A&M's 10-7 win over Colorado on Sept. 11.
