Marshall was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Jets' Jonathan Marshall: Placed on COVID-19 list
Marshall was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Marshall hasn't played much this season as a depth piece of the Jets' defensive line, but as ailments have piled up within the unit, his chance to see an increase in work has grown. Now that he has hit the COVID list himself, he may miss that opportunity. However, if Marshall is vaccinated and can produce two negative tests more than 24 hours apart, he can clear protocols and suit up Sunday against the Jaguars.

Jets' Jonathan Marshall: Taken off PUP list

Whatever injury Marshall was nursing evidently wasn't significant, as he missed only two days of practice. The rookie sixth-round pick will compete for a depth role at defensive tackle during training camp.

Jets' Jonathan Marshall: Lands on PUP list
Marshall was placed on the preseason PUP list for an unspecified reason Friday.
While the Jets didn't announce what injury Marshall is dealing with, he was able to work off to the side for most of the OTA and minicamp activities this summer. It's not yet clear how much time he'll miss to begin training camp.
