Eagles' Will Shipley: Minimal impact in Week 14
Shipley caught his lone target for 11 yards while playing four of the Eagles' 53 offensive snaps in Friday's 24-15 loss to the Bears.
The Clemson product received his first offensive touch since the Eagles' Week 10 win over the Packers and played ahead of Tank Bigsby (no touches on just one offensive snap) during Friday's loss, suggesting he may be emerging as the team's No. 2 running back. Shipley has now appeared in 10 games this season, recording 84 total yards on 16 touches while also accumulating 520 kick-return yards. He's likely to remain a minor factor in Philadelphia's offense in the Week 14 matchup against the Chargers.

Eagles' Will Shipley: No touches vs. Dallas
Shipley accumulated 106 kickoff-return yards and played seven of the Eagles' 58 offensive snaps in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Cowboys.
The 23-year-old from Clemson played more offensive snaps than Tank Bigsby (three) but still didn't record an offensive touch. Shipley has now gone without a carry in four of the Eagles' last six games, indicating he's operating as the team's No. 3 running back. One week after Shipley touched the ball a season-high six times on offense, he went an entire game without any usage, something that's happened on two other occasions already this season. Both Shipley's carries and catches represented season highs, but the overall picture was still quite a minor role for Shipley. He did at least see the field for 12 offensive snaps (another season high and four more than Tank Bigsby managed), but his pathway to becoming a significant part of the Eagles' offense is hard to envision as long as Saquon Barkley remains healthy.

Shipley rushed three times for a total of two yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Giants.
Shipley appears to have slipped to third on the depth chart, as his eight offensive snaps were only half of those played by Tank Bigsby, who carried the ball nine times. Saquon Barkley exited with a groin injury at the end of the third quarter but believes he'll be good to go after the team's Week 9 bye. If Barkley does wind up missing time, Shipley should play a larger role than normal in Week 10 against the Packers but would likely still see fewer touches than Bigsby.

Shipley caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Vikings.
Shipley was the second running back on the depth chart Sunday, seeing the field for eight offensive snaps compared to four for Tank Bigsby. Meanwhile, AJ Dillon was a healthy inactive. Unless lead back Saquon Barkley gets hurt, however, Bigsby nor any other running back on the roster will struggle to see enough volume to attain fantasy relevance.

Shipley (oblique) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
Shipley hurt his oblique in Week 1 against Dallas and hasn't been able to play since. He finished last week with a pair of limited practices and has now been cleared to practice in full, which bodes well for his likelihood of returning to gameday action Sunday in Tampa Bay. If he's able to suit up, Shipley will likely slide back into the No. 2 RB role behind workhorse Saquon Barkley.

Eagles' Will Shipley: Not playing Sunday
Shipley (oblique) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Shipley left the Eagles' season-opening win against the Cowboys with a rib injury that eventually was reclassified as an oblique issue on Week 2 injury reports. He missed all three sessions last week before Philadelphia ruled him out, but he was able practice in a limited capacity this Thursday and Friday before a decision was made regarding his Week 3 availability. As long as Shipley is sidelined, AJ Dillon should handle most of the RB reps that don't go to starter Saquon Barkley, as Tank Bigsby didn't play any offensive snaps in his Eagles debut this past Sunday in Kansas City.
