The Pirates released Tilson on June 9.
Tilson was one of several non-roster players cut loose by Pittsburgh in anticipation of the 2020 minor-league season being canceled. The 27-year-old outfielder previously appeared in 54 big-league games with the White Sox in 2019, hitting .229 with a home run and four stolen bases across 157 plate appearances.
