Gohara (shoulder) was released by the Angels on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Once a top prospect in the Mariners' and Braves' organizations, Gohara has dealt with a long list of arm injuries over the last few years, which has negatively impacted his development. As of early March, he was still months away from being able to return from a shoulder injury.
