Gordon will be eased back into regular action when he makes his return to the Marlins on Thursday, MLB.com reports.
Thursday marks the end of Gordon's 80-game PED suspension and he's gone 5-for-22 in six rehab games. Encouragingly, Gordon swiped a pair of bases during his rehab work and should be ready to make an immediate impact when activated. Manager Don Mattingly did acknowledge, however, the Derek Dietrich will continue to see regular work at second, noting that Gordon is ineligible to participate in the post season should the Marlins get there.
