Solis was released by the Padres on Thursday.

Solis compiled a 3.57 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 28:8 K:BB in 22.2 innings with Triple-A El Paso before being cut loose. The veteran reliever will now look to latch on elsewhere as bullpen depth.
