Harrison Bader CF | PHI
Phillies' Harrison Bader: Game 3 status uncertain
Manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that Bader (groin) will be a game-time decision to start Game 3 of the NLDS on Wednesday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
After exiting Game 1 early due to a groin injury, Bader came off the bench to deliver a pinch-hit single in the ninth inning of Game 2. If the Phillies decide to keep him out of the starting lineup Wednesday, the 31-year-old would presumably still be available to serve as a pinch hitter again.

Cade Horton P | CHC
Cubs' Cade Horton: Throwing bullpen session Tuesday
Horton (rib) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.
Horton is slated to throw 30 pitches at mid-level intensity. The rookie right-hander could still get added to the Cubs' NLCS roster, should they rally to advance past the Brewers. Horton hasn't pitched since Sept. 23 due to a right rib fracture.

Jackson Chourio CF | MIL
Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Was removed due to tight hamstring
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that Chourio was removed from Monday's Game 2 of the NLDS versus the Cubs in the ninth inning after his right hamstring tightened up, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
It's the same hamstring that Chourio tweaked in Game 1, forcing his removal from that contest. Murphy noted that Chourio will go through a very light workout Tuesday at Wrigley Field prior to Wednesday's Game 3, and the outfielder is considered day-to-day. Chourio is 5-for-7 with one home run and six RBI in the first two games of the series. If Chourio forced to miss Game 3, Isaac Collins would likely replace him in the outfield.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Day-to-day with tight hamstring
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Rojas is day-to-day after exiting Monday's NLDS Game 2 win over the Phillies with hamstring tightness, Cody Snavely of DodgersBeat.com reports.
Roberts noted that Rojas' hamstring has been bothering him "for the past few weeks," and he aggravated the injury in the bottom of the sixth inning when he dove into third base to get an inning-ending forceout. Rojas is not expected to be in the lineup for Game 3 on Wednesday even if he were 100 percent, but it's unclear at this point whether he will be available off the bench.

Aidan Miller SS | PHI
Phillies' Aidan Miller: Pulls out of Arizona Fall League
Phillies farm director Luke Murton said that Miller will no longer participate in the Arizona Fall League due to "some nagging things physically," Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
There doesn't seem to be any concern that whatever physical issues Miller is dealing with will linger, but the Phillies have decided it's best to give their top prospect some rest. Miller slashed .264/.392/.433 with 14 home runs and 59 stolen bases between Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2025 and could be ready to make his major-league debut with Philadelphia next season.

Jameson Taillon SP | CHC
Cubs' Jameson Taillon: Tapped for Game 3 start
Taillon will start Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the Brewers on Wednesday, Marquee Sports Network report.
Taillon put together a strong outing against the Padres during the wild-card round, hurling four scoreless frames while surrendering two hits and striking out four. He'll be tasked with shutting down an offense that has racked up 24 hits in the first two games of the series in a must-win game for the Cubs at Wrigley Field. It's worth noting that Taillon could be on a short leash Wednesday given it's a win or go home situation for Chicago.

Quinn Priester SP | MIL
Brewers' Quinn Priester: Named starter for Game 3 of NLDS
Priester will start Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the Cubs on Wednesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Priester was thought to be in the mix for bulk relief Monday in Game 2, but Milwaukee instead elected to lean on Jacob Misiorowski. This decision has opened the door for Priester to toe the rubber at Wrigley Field against a Cubs team that is one loss away from elimination. The 25-year-old struggled a bit with his command during his last start in Chicago (Aug. 21), allowing one run on three hits and five walks while striking out four in 4.1 frames.

Jackson Chourio CF | MIL
Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Delivers knockout punch
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Monday's 7-3 victory in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Cubs.
Chourio's status leading up to Monday night was uncertain after he departed Game 1 early with a hamstring injury, but he showed plenty of juice in Game 2. His biggest moment of the evening came in the bottom of the fourth inning when he clubbed a three-run home run off Daniel Palencia, providing his team with key insurance runs. It was clear throughout the game that Chourio wasn't running at full speed, as reported by Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, so it'll be worth keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old's status leading up to Wednesday's Game 3. Milwaukee did replace Chourio in left field for the top of the ninth inning, but the team has yet to indicate that this move was anything more than a precaution.

Shota Imanaga RP | CHC
Cubs' Shota Imanaga: Saddled with loss in Game 2
Imanaga took the loss Monday in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Brewers after allowing four runs on five hits while striking out three over 2.2 innings.
Imanaga was hit hard in his second appearance of the postseason, immediately squandering a three-run lead in the bottom of the first inning courtesy of a three-run home run by Andrew Vaughn. Imanaga's outing didn't improve much after this initial blow, as William Contreras struck for a solo shot in the bottom of the third, effectively ending the left-hander's outing. The silver lining to Imanaga's brief start is that he kept his pitch count low, meaning he could have a chance to come back later in the series if the Cubs are able to extend the NLDS.

Jacob Misiorowski SP | MIL
Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski: Earns first postseason victory
Misiorowski secured the win after allowing one hit and two walks while striking out four across three scoreless innings during Monday's 7-3 victory in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Cubs.
Misiorowski was actually the third pitcher to be deployed by the Brewers in Game 2, but he managed to stabilize his club after Aaron Ashby gave up a three-run home run as the opener. The young flamethrower was effectively wild, throwing 32 of 57 pitches for strikes and topping out at an eye popping 104.3 mph. It wouldn't be a surprise to see skipper Pat Murphy call Misiorowski's number later in the week if the Cubs manage to extend the series given his strong performance Monday night.
