Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Won't play Friday

DeRozan (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.

DeRozan was considered probable due to a minor groin injury, so this is a bit surprising, even if it's just an exhibition. With Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Keegan Murray (thumb) already sidelined to begin the season, the Kings are being super cautious with their veteran forward.
