Lakers' Marcus Smart: Slated to suit up Friday

Smart (rest) is expected to play during Friday's preseason finale against Sacramento, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

The Lakers are set to deploy their normal rotation in Friday's exhibition finale. With LeBron James (sciatica) out for at least a few more weeks, Smart is one of several candidates to replace James in the Opening Night starting five.
