Johnson will sign a 10-day hardship deal with the Lakers with the hopes of being available for Saturday's Christmas Day game against the Nets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Johnson was signed to the Bulls on a hardship deal earlier in the season before ironically being placed in protocols himself and failing to debut. He'll get another chance to step on the court this season -- this time with the Lakers. Los Angeles has seven players out due to protocols and injury. Darren Collison is also expected to sign with the Lakers in hopes of being available for Christmas.
